The Woodlands Christian Academy in The Woodlands, Texas, north of Houston, is looking for a MS/HS Latin teacher to start the 2025-2026 school year. They currently have a thriving Latin program from grades 8th-12th that has grown to the point of needing an additional teacher. They currently offer Latin I, II, III Pre-AP, and AP Latin. This Latin position could be full time or part time, depending on enrollment, scheduling, and applicant’s preference. Lakehill Preparatory School: Lakehill Preparatory School is a K-12 school of approximately 400 students looking for a part-time high school Latin teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.  Anyone interested in teaching 1-2 classes can find more information here.  

The Covenant School is hiring a high school Latin teacher. We're a classical Christian school with a thriving Latin Department and a commitment to making Latin central to our curriculum and mission. We have employed many UD graduates over the years, especially from the IPS; but I would love to have someone from the Classics Department on staff as well.  

Saint Thomas' Episcopal Church and School has a full time Latin teaching position available for the upcoming school year. You can read more about the position here: https://www.stes.orgabout/careers. Classical School of Dallas has a Latin teaching position open starting in the Fall.
Summary: This position has responsibility for up to five periods of classes containing up to 16 students each. The teacher is responsible for upper level Latin instruction two to three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday), for creating lesson plans and assignments based on blueprints, and for posting assignments to the school's online portal for home-teachers (i.e., parents) to access. Candidates should be capable of and interested in teaching students in classes ranging from Latin I to V (7th - 11th grades). Previous Latin teaching experience is preferred (especially experience with our curriculum of choice, Lingua Latina.) Curriculum and materials will be provided. 
Position type: Part-time. School day duties (M/W/R) plus additional preparation time as needed. Some training and in-service days are also required.
Start date: Classes begin August 25. Training for incoming teachers will take place August 4-8.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree; agreement with and support of the school's statement of faith; strong commitment to Christian education and the Classical Model of education.
Additional desirable qualifications: Teaching experience at a classical school, teaching certification, and BA or graduate degree in Latin or Classics is preferred.
